My wife and I were renting a home in Texas after a relocation from NYC brought us to North Texas. I am not sure how we found Rick but we were blessed to cross paths. Rick is a wealth of knowledge, experience and wise counsel helping us find the home we wanted in the right area for us. He is patient and was able to answer all of our questions and was an amazing guide from start to close. I cannot recommend him enough and have referred him to several others and will continue to do so. Stellar realtor with great customer service - he is a rockstar.

Rick is a very energetic and highly competent real estate I've ever seen or heard of. The skill level he brings to the process is like nothing I have ever heard of or seen before…and I'm 76 years old and have bought and sold a FEW houses.Rick is in the very top tier of the best real estate agents nationwide for Coldwell Banker and Rick is not only highly knowledgeable about selling and buying homes, he is very likable and approachable and full of great energy. He is someone you would pick to be a friend. The house that Rick sold for me this year (2020) had crumbling mortar in the front of the front door. Not exactly the place you want to make a bad impression since it is the first thing a buyer see as they enter the house for the first time. Out of his own pocket, Rick hired a masonry expert that repaired and made the entry way look like new!Speaking of dollars, Rick really knows how to get top dollar for your home. Sometimes in prepping a house to be put on the market, Rick knew all the little things to do like will temporarily remove the screens on your windows. This lets in more light and makes the inside of your house look larger.Rick knows how to market a house. To take the picture of the front of your house, Rick has a photographer come out during a certain "window" of time in the evening just before the sun goes down, such that the picture of your house shows a beautiful blue sky above, but also there is enough light to put the front of your house in the best light while at the same time there is enough light to see that all the lights are turned on. This creates a very warm and inviting appearance that tends to make you want to live in this house. The next step is that he takes the beautiful picture of your home and creates a first glass color brochure specifically for your home and your home only. In addition to other means of distributing "your" brochure, he goes to 30 neighbors who live around your home and he gives them one of the brochures.I mean this guy is fantastic!!

I was referred to Rick by my former manager who informed me that while he has family members who are in the Real Estate business ;he picked Rick in lieu. From our first meeting, Rick showed to be very knowledgeable in matters not just in Real Estate, but beyond ( tax, laws, builders, zoning). He was very attentive, funny at times and extremely accommodating, this is the kind of guy that makes you feel like your best friend is picking your home for you, not just an agent who wants to get a commission and call it a day. He would say buy this home or walk away from this home, he would pick your call even at 10 pm and explain to your the contract word by word if you needed that. I feel lucky that I had a chance to meet this man and to know him personally. To this day I always call Rick for anything I need advice in home related matters. I will pick him for any future home buy and rent.NP: he is number one in Coldwell Banker and a lover of Highland Homes for a good reason.

I cannot speak highly enough of Rick Baker, his work ethic and his commitment to making sure I was educated in making my real estate decision. He understood exactly what I needed and worked hard to get it for me. I came across Ricks information when searching for a home in the McKinney and Frisco Area and I have to say he was sent to make sure I was well taken care of in this hostile real estate market. I highly recommend Risk as he views his clients as life long partners. He's a bulldog when he needs to be but most of all I consider him a valuable friend. He understands the movement of the market and works with a sense of urgency. Give Rick a call, I promise you won't regret it. :)

Rick is absolutely an outstanding realtor. He made our experience in buying our first home in Frisco smooth. He sure is knowledgeable of the house market, neighborhoods, future developments. etc. Relocating from Arizona not knowing the city could be overwhelming but Rick went out of his way to show us around. He was by our side throughout the whole process. Very patient and professional, always available for any questions or concerns. We are beyond grateful to have found and met Rick. We couldn't thank him enough for all he did for us. I highly recommend Rick for your future real estate buying.

Rick Baker is the best negotiator I have had the pleasure of knowing. We have been looking for a home in the Savannah area for a couple of months. As a lot of you know it is a sellers market. In fact, we have lost offers on two separate properties. Then we met Rick. Rick convinced us he could help (an understatement). We wanted to offer substantially above asking. Rick said sometimes it’s best “not to throw money at this” and suggested looking at other seller incentives. We had a very long brainstorming session on what incentives the seller might prefer. We put together an offer with Rick’s suggestions at a lower dollar offer than we had been thinking. Simply put, Rick is brilliant. Our offer was accepted as we moved into escrow. We are moving from CA and Rick was with us every step of the way. Rick would email or phone with all important information, sometimes late into the evening. Honestly, I don’t know when he finds time to sleep. He was at the house during every inspection and even did a video walkthrough on closing. The escrow process was uneventful, and we closed today 35 days into the process. A very good timeline in this market. If you are looking for an honest, hard working agent with the highest integrity, Rick is your man. It is our hope Rick can do for you what he has done for us.Sincerely,Bob & Mary Edie(Note from Rick Baker ) Bob and Mary are "seasoned citizens" who have been investing in Real Estate for decades. So when they asked me to help I was honored since I knew that the approach they were doing was not going to be fruitful. Honored to serve you and flattered that you found my work to be exemplary.

Rick is one of the most exceptional realtors I have ever come across. His knowledge of the area he serves is second to none. His customer service is outstanding. He would work with my husband and I tirelessly into the evening. I would recommend him to anyone. Outstanding in every way!Note from Rick Baker is below.(Deborah works for Coldwell Banker Corporation and travels the country training Realtors. So she is talking to Realtors EVERY day! I met her and when came to an Open House I was doing and she was AMAZED and asked me to help her find a home in DFW)

This man is the most professional real estate agent I have ever dealt with. He is not just an agent. He and his wife are the Texas welcome committee! They will advise you about all things Texas from where to live to where to take your kids out for family outings. He was so knowledgeable when I met him that I literally cancelled my contract with my other realtor and went with him instead. He will go into great detail for you when you are considering a home reviewing its history from its building plans to its physical foundations to help you make the best choice about where to invest in your next home. We are so happy with Rick that all of our family members only use him now whenever we need to purchase a home or rent it out. Don’t go for a Joe Shmoe real estate agent! If you want a real deal ; cream of the crop agent, better call Rick Baker

I walked into $45,000 of equity at the closing of my new home! This is the 3rd time I have worked with Rick Baker and each time he gets better results for me. I met him over 10 years ago when I was renting and he learned that I was an Army Veteran and he said it was crime that I had not utilized my VA benefits. So he tirelessly worked even when I wanted to stop and just go sign another lease. He was always there encouraging me to move forward and he has changed my life for the better in so many ways! His people helped me with my credit and showed me how to become a homeowner. Rick sold my previous home this summer with multiple offers and even getting the Buyer to pay my title closing costs, no warranty, no repairs and then an additional penalty of over $1,400 dollars because they did not close on the right day. He personally did every Open House and wound up selling it to someone who attended his Open House who was so thrilled by what he showed them they left and called their Realtor right away to write an over the top offer giving in to all that Rick Baker had asked.Rick negotiated an amazing price for a brand new home on an unbelievable lot that has a massive yard, uniquely placed with no immediate neighbors AND at a lower price than even a comparable home a few hundred feet away that the builder had just closed the month before. When I got the appraisal report from the Loan Officer Wade Betz (Another ALL STAR!) I was floored at the magic Rick had pulled off. To make it even better then Rick negotiated for the Builder to pay $15,000 dollars to cover almost all of my Closing costs on the brand new home.Every time there was an issue with either the sale or the purchase of any property Rick was always aggressively protecting my interests and would tell me that he would address whatever had come up and tell me to not worry about a thing. Then he went out and do EXACTLY what he said and the next day Rick would call and say that the problem was gone with an amazing result for me.Just call him and start to talk with him.... It is crystal clear from the moment you talk with him that he is deeply committed to protecting his Client's interests with more experience and passion than any other Realtor you will ever meet.Thank You Mr. Baker!
